Total Current Assets

What are Total Current Assets?

Total Current Assets represent all assets that are expected to be used up or sold in the current fiscal period. These can be converted into cash within the normal operating business cycle and are expected to cover company obligations. Current assets value shows how much a company has, if needed immediately, and how liquid a company is.

How are Total Current Assets calculated?

Total Current Assets are a sum of the following:

• Cash & Short Term Investments;
• Total Receivables, Net;
• Inventories;
• Prepaid Expenses; and 
• Other Current Assets.
