Dynamic Price and Time Forecasting Grid█ Dynamic Price and Time Forecasting Grid projects price levels, time intervals, and diagonal structure from a single anchor point using four selectable geometric spirals — Pentagon (72°), Hexagon (60°), Square of Nine (45°), and Even Square (45°). It is the evolution of the Square of Nine Price and Time Forecasting Grid: the same anchor-and-rotation engine, now extended to four geometries, with a pivot-based fit analysis that measures which spiral the current market actually follows. Select one significant high or low, and the entire grid self-generates — no manual drawing, no external tools.
Each geometry expands price by its own spiral law and time by its own cell progression, so the four grids are genuinely different forecasting frameworks — not one grid rescaled. The fit analysis exists for exactly this reason: rather than assuming the Square of Nine suits every market, the indicator tracks real pivots on your chart and reports which geometry they align with.
█ HOW IT WORKS
1. Anchor and Rotations
Select a significant high or low as the anchor. The grid builds full 360° rotations of price levels from that point, each rotation's endpoint becoming the next rotation's starting price. Negative rotations optionally extend the grid past the anchor in the opposite direction, so structure exists on both sides of your starting pivot.
2. Four Geometries
Each spiral has its own angular resolution and spoke count: Pentagon (5 spokes, 72° steps), Hexagon (6 spokes, 60° steps), Square of Nine (8 spokes, 45° steps), and Even Square (8 spokes, 45° steps with selectable cardinal row). Price levels are generated by rotational calculation on the selected spiral — switching geometry rebuilds the entire grid under a different expansion law.
3. Time Lines
Choose a spoke of the active geometry, and that spoke's cell sequence becomes bar offsets from the anchor — vertical time lines whose spacing widens as the spiral expands outward. Up to 20 forward time lines can be projected on any timeframe.
4. Diagonals and Intersection Nodes
Diagonal angles propagate between consecutive time lines at your chosen resolution, forming the grid's internal structure. Rising and falling diagonal families are styled independently and maintain their visual direction throughout the entire grid, including negative rotations. Intersection nodes mark where diagonals cross — the grid's natural price-and-time meeting points.
5. Revealed Grid
Instead of drawing the full lattice, Revealed Grid mode draws only the cells that price has actually visited (by close or by wick, your choice), then projects the grid forward into future columns from the recent trading range. The result is a grid that emerges from price action rather than being imposed over it.
6. Pivot Tracking and Fit Analysis
Two independent pivot sensitivities run from the anchor: calibration pivots (major swings, marked ◆) and scoring pivots (intermediate swings, marked ·). The indicator tracks whether scoring pivots form at the grid's forecast time positions, marks confirmed matches with ✓, counts price-and-time confluences, and scores the market's observed pivot pattern against all four geometries simultaneously. The accuracy table reports a Resonance score (0–1) for the active geometry and names the Best Fit geometry for the current chart — green when you are already using it, yellow when another spiral fits better.

█ HOW TO USE
1. Add the indicator and, when prompted, click a significant high or low on your chart. This anchor drives the entire grid.
2. Scale to fit your instrument. Use Scale Factor (multiply for sub-1.00 assets, divide for very high-priced ones) until the levels align with your chart's price structure. This is the most important calibration step.
3. Choose your geometry. Start with the Square of Nine if you are migrating from the original grid, then compare the other three spirals on the same anchor.
4. Engage timelines by selecting a spoke for the active geometry. Vertical time lines project forward with the spiral's natural widening intervals.
5. Add diagonals at your preferred resolution to complete the internal structure, and enable intersection nodes to mark the crossing points.
6. Optionally switch to Revealed Grid mode to see only the cells whose price has actually traded through, with the forward projection extending the structure ahead of the current bar.
7. Enable Pivot Tracking and open the accuracy table. Watch the hit counts accumulate, then check the Resonance row and the Best Fit verdict — if a different geometry scores higher, switch to it on the same anchor and compare the structure directly.
8. Set alerts on level crosses, timeline arrivals, or diagonal crosses for the levels you are watching.
█ WHAT MAKES THIS ORIGINAL
Square of Nine tools on TradingView draw a single grid from a single formula. This indicator implements four distinct spiral geometries — each with its own price expansion law, spoke layout, and time-cell progression — inside a single anchor-and-rotation engine, and then closes the loop: it measures the market against all four and reports which one the chart is actually following.
Key contributions:
• Unified four-geometry engine — Pentagon, Hexagon, Square of Nine, and Even Square share one anchor, rotation, timeline, and diagonal framework, so geometries can be compared like-for-like on the same pivot

█ LIMITATIONS & TIPS
• TradingView limits a script to roughly 500 line objects. The indicator estimates its own line usage and shows a warning label when a configuration approaches the cap — reduce time lines, rotations, or diagonal density if you see it.
• Scale Factor is required for instruments priced below 1.00 (and helpful for very high-priced ones); without it, levels may not appear at a usable spacing.
• Revealed Grid mode requires time lines to be active, since the grid's columns are defined by them.
• The accuracy table reports descriptive measurements of past alignment on the current chart. Read the hit rate together with the number of scored positions — a high rate over a handful of samples means little.
• Works on any symbol and any timeframe; the grid's time logic is bar-based, so each timeframe produces its own structure from the same anchor date.

This tool is inspired by concepts from The Definitive Guide to Forecasting Using W.D. Gann's Square of Nine by Patrick Mikula. The indicator reflects my personal adaptation and implementation of those forecasting principles within TradingView, extended beyond the book's Square of Nine to pentagon, hexagon, and even-square geometries.
