Indikator Tren Volume Harga / Price Volume Trend (PVT) adalah suatu indikator berbasis momentum yang digunakan untuk mengukur aliran uang. PVT serupa dengan perangkat analisis teknikal On Balance Volume (OBV) yang mengukur akumulasi dari volume. OBV menambah atau mengurangi nilai dari total volume harian yang bergantung pada apakah harga sedang mengalami kenaikan atau penurunan di hari tersebut. PVT hanya menambahkan atau mengurangi suatu porsi saja dari volume harian. Jumlah total yang ditambahkan atau dikurangi dari/ke total PVT sangat bergantung pada jumlah kenaikan atau penurunan harga hari ini yang dibandingkan dengan harga close di hari sebelumnya. Tren Volume Harga / Price Volume Trend (PVT) dapat digunakan terutama untuk mengkonfirmasi trend ataupun melihat kemungkinan terdapatnya sinyal trading saat terjadinya divergen.
