Support Resistance - Aging [Example]Hello All,
First all of Thanks to Pine Team for adding Arrays to Pine!
In this script I tried to make example for
1. Finding S/R lines using highest/lowest function
2. Using 1D array as 2D (we keep S/R levels and age)
3. "Age" usage for S/R levels, getting older on each candle and changing colors by their age (maximum age is 127 then it disappears)
You can use "Close"/Open " or " High/Low " as source.
There is an option for the background color, by default it's Black, do not forget to set it accordingly :)
Enjoy!

Support Resistance - Dynamic v2Hello Traders!
After the addition of "Arrays" to the Pine, I developed new and improved version of Support Resistance - Dynamic script as version 2. In this script Arrays were used. This can be used as Support Resistance tool, also it will be an example for the people who want to learn Array usage in Pine. Many thanks to Pine Team for adding Arrays!
The script finds the Pivot Points and check them in channels if there can be S/R or not, and draws mid line of the channel as S/R line. you can set number of PPs and channel width in the options. Each channel width is optimized dynamically according to Pivot Points. Also you can choose " High/Low " or " Close/Open " as source for Pivot Points.
There is an option for maximum number of S/R levels. S/R levels are found and sorted dynamically and number of S/R lines with enough strength changes dynamically.
Some other options for coloring and line width. (Solid, Dashed or Dotted)
S/R levels are shown in the Labels and Label colors are changed automatically, if S/R line is below the closing price then it's color is Green (as Support), otherwise its color is Red (as Resistance).

Rolling Traditional Pivot Points [QuantNomad]Standard Traditional Pivot Points are calculated from the previous day (or another period) close/low/high. But what is the day close for cryptocurrencies trading 24/7 on exchange? Does it make sense to use a specific time price as a close if it continue trading after that?
So I decided to solve that issue with Rolling Traditional Pivot Points where I calculate pivot points not at the end of the period but for every bar. Every time recalculating pivot points I look at a window of period length in bars and base my calculations on these bars. This way you get smooth pivot points changing with every bar and it seems like levels might be really nice support and resistance for the price.
I implemented 6 periods: Auto, Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year. For the Auto period, I select the most suitable period for the timeframe of your chart.
On the chart, you can see by default up to 11 levels plotted
PP – Pivot Point
S1, S2, S3, S4, S5 - Support Levels
R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 - Resistance Levels

RVC-Trade-With-Pivot-LevelsHow to Use PIVOT Levels for Trading
Always remember ->: *Trade with trend*
About script:
1. Daily and Weekly close above Pivot Level.
-- Sentiment is highly positive. Pivot Level acts as strong support.
2. Daily Close above Pivot and Weekly Close Below Pivot
-- Sentiment is positive.Weekly Pivot Level may act as strong resistance.
3. Daily close below Pivot and weekly close above Pivot

BUY/SELL -- ENTRY
BUY ABOVE 23.6% UPWARD
IF Trend is positive and price cross and sustains above 23.6%(R1) upside, then it will be entry from BUY perspective.
If R1 is entry, R2/R3/R4/R5 ... will be targets.
SELL Below 23.6% Downward
IF Trend is negative and price cross and sustains below 23.6%(S1) downside, then it will be entry from SELL perspective.
If S1 is Sell side entry, S2/S3/S4/S5 will be targets.
Before taking ENTRY on BUY or SELL Side, please know your risk levels, Stop Loss and trade EXECUTION process.

Support Resistance MTFHello Traders,
This is Support Resistance script that uses Multi Time Frame. While getting Close/Open/High/Low values of Higher Time Frames the script does NOT use Security function , instead it calculates them.
while choosing Higher Time Frame, you can use "Auto" option so it uses predefined Higher Time Frames, or you can choose the Higher Time Frame Manually from the list. options for HTF => 15mins, 30mins, 60mins, 120mins, 180mins, 240mins, 720mins, Day, Week, 2 Weeks, Months, 3 Months, 6 Months, 12 Months.
You have option to use High/Low or Close/Open values while calculating support resistance levels.
"Period for Highest/Lowest Bars" option is used as loopback period to check if it's Highest/lowest bars. smaller numbers = more sensitive result.
You have option for transparency and coloring of support/resistance levels/zone => Red, Lime, Blue, White, Black, Olive, Gray
An example for 15 min chart, 4hours selected as HTF
You can set transparency and colors as you wish:
You can choose Close/Open prices while calculating S/R levels instead of High/Low

Smoothed Pivot Reversal Strategy [QuantNomad]With this strategy trying to rethink the standard pivot reversal strategy.
Don't like the idea that for 10/10 pivot you have to wait for 10points to confirm it. So I used multiple pivot levels and calculated the average line. This way when we have a new high level approaching it smoothly.
This way you can have a bit better price for entries but the risk of fake entries bit bigger as well.
I'm using the usual trailing stop loss as an exit for this strategy.
Parameters for this strategy is pretty simple:
Left/Right bars for pivot points.
Additional smoothing - you can additionally smooth pivot lines with EMA
% for Traling SL
Consolidation Zones - LiveHello Traders!
This is the script that finds Consolidation Zones in Realtime.
How it works?
- The script finds highest/lowest bars by using "Loopback Period"
- Then it calculates direction
- By using the direction and highest/lowest bar info it calculates consolidation zones in realtime
- If the length of consolidation area is equal/greater than user-defined min length then this area is shown as consolidation zone
- Then Consolidation Zone extends automatically if there is no breakout
if you increase the Loopback Length then you get bigger consolidation zones:
You have option to "Paint Consolidation Area" or not:

Pivot TrendHello Traders,
Another original idea is here with you. Actualy I can say that it's a breakout strategy that uses multiple Pivot Point's averages.
How it works?
- it finds the Pivot Points, you can set the length as you want
- it gets averages of Pivot Highs and Pivot Lows, you can set the number of Pivot Points to be included
- it compares the current closing price with averages of Pivot Highs and Pivot Lows
- if both are positive or negative then trend changes
You have two options:
- Pivot Point Period => is the length that is used to find Pivot Points. means it checks left/right bars if it's Pivot Point (4 by default)
- Number of PP to check => is the number of Pivot Points that the script finds and calculates the averages (3 by default)
An Example with the settings Pivot Point Period = 5 and Number of PP to check = 2
Play with settings as you wish. Comments are welcome, together we can improve it ;)
Enjoy!
Donchian Trend RibbonHello Traders,
I think you all know Donchian Channels. so I am not going to write about it.
With this indicator I tried to create Donchian Trend Ribbon by using Donchian Channels.
How it works ?
- it calculates main trend direction by using the length that is user-defined. so you can change it as you wish
- then it calculates trend direction for each 9 lower lengths. if you set the length = 20 then the lengths are 19, 18,...11
- and it checks if the trend directions that came from lower lengths is same or not with main trend direction.
- it changes the trend color of the ribbon.
-
Warning: Entry points may also represents trend reversal. So you should use stoploss line if you decide to take buy/sell positions.
P.S. I didn't backtest it, it's non-repainting, it should be used educational purposes only.

Donchian TrendHello All,
I think all of you knows Donchian Channels . so I am not going to write about it.
With this indicator I tried to create Trend Lines by using Donchian Channel upper/lower bands. I tried add possible entry levels as well.
How it works ?
- it calculates main trend direction by using the length that is user-defined. so you can change it as you wish
- then it calculates trend direction for 9 lower lengths. if you set the length = 20 then the lengths are 19, 18,...11
- and it checks if the trend directions that came from lower lengths is same or not with main trend direction.
- it changes the trendline color. lighter trend line means stonger trend, darker trend lines means entry points or possible trend reversal.
- it puts entry points by using trend directions that were created by using lower lengths. it gets entry points if high/low touches main trend line as well.
Warning: Arrows are entry points but it may also represents trend reversal. So you should use stoploss line if you decide to take buy/sell positions.
P.S. I didn't backtest it, it's non-repainting, it should be used educational purposes only . I believe it can be improved, so I am open for new ideas to improve it ;)
Enjoy!
Fibonacci Pivot PointsI have included the main support and resistance pivot point levels for the Fibonacci Pivot Points. I changed the bar colors to reflect buy and sell points so if a bar is green then that means to buy it and if it is red then sell it
Let me know if you would like to see me do any other indicators!
Pivot Point SupertrendHello All,
There are many types of SuperTrend around. Recently I thought about a Supertrend based on Pivot Points then I wrote "Pivot Point SuperTrend" script. It looks it has better performance on keeping you in the trend more.
The idea is behind this script is finding pivot point, calculating average of them and like in supertrend creating higher/lower bands by ATR. As you can see in the algorithm the script gives weigth to past pivot points, this is done for smoothing it a bit.
As I wrote above it may keep you in the trend more, lets see an example:
As an option the script can show main center line and I realized that when you are in a position, this line can be used as early exit points. (maybe half of the position size)
While using Pivot Points, I added support resistance lines by using Pivot Point, as an option the script can show S/R lines:
And also it can show Pivot Points:
When you changed Pivot Point Period you can see its reaction, in following example PP period is 4 (default value is 2). Smaller PP periods more sensitive trendlines.
Alerts added for Buy/Sell entries and Trend Reversals. (when you set alerts use the option " Once Per Bar Close ")
ENJOY!
Trend Lines for RSI, CCI, Momentum, OBVHello Traders!
After publishing Trend Lines for RSI yesterday, I realized that Trend Lines for more indicators needed by the traders. so I decided to make it for four different indicators: RSI, CCI, OBV, Momentum
In the indicator options you can choose the indicator from pull-down menu.
How it works?
- On each bar it finds last 10 higher and lower Pivot Points (PP) for the indicator.
- from first bar to 10. Pivot Point it searchs if a trend line is possible
- for each PP it starts searching from the last PP .
- it checks if drawing a trend line possible or not and also it's broken or not
- if it's broken then optionally it shows broken trend lines as dotted (or you can option not to see broken lines)
- if it finds a continues trend line then it stops searhing more and draw trend line, this is done by checking angles (I did this to make the script faster, otherwise you may get error because of it needs time more than .2sec)
- the script makes this process for each PP
- then shows the trend lines
P.S. it may need 3-10 seconds when you added the script to the chart at first (because of calculations)
Trend lines for CCI:
Trend Lines for OBV
Trend Lines for Momentum:
You may want to watch how Trend Lines script works (that was made for RSI)

Trend Lines v2Hello Everyone. After working on new and better trend lines script for couple of weeks, finally I am proud to publish Trend Lines v2.
How it works?
- On each bar it finds last 10 higher and lower Pivot Points (PP).
- from first bar to 10. PP it search if a trend line is possible
- for each it starts searching from the last PP.
- it check if drawing a trend line possible or not and also it's broken or not
- if it's broken then optionally it shows broken trend lines as dotted
- if it finds a continues trend line and stop searhing more and draw trend line (I did this to make the script faster, otherwise you may get error because of it needs time more than .2sec)
- the script makes this process for each PP
optionally trend lines may be Solid or Dashed
optionally you may get rid of broken trend lines if you think it's crowded
and sometimes you may not see any trend line on the chart. this means you need to adjust the period for Pivot Points accordingly
also I made a video. if you watch this video you can see how the script works.
Important! after you add this tool to the chart you may need zoom-in and zoom-out to see all lines!
I thought a lot to make it free or not then I decided make it free and open source. you should know there is a lot of effort for this script, so if you think this is usefull please consider a donation ;)
Enjoy!

CPRFibonacciPivots By EquityDuraiThe Central Pivot Range (CPR) is one of the most versatile price-based indicators available to traders. ... At any given time, the range can be support or resistance, it can forecast trending or sideways price behavior, dictate the day's direction, or serve as an integral part of a trend.
Keep in mind that depending on the market’s behavior, the formula for TC may in fact create the level for BC, and vice versa. I always refer to the highest level as TC, and the lowest level as BC, regardless of which formula led to the level’s creation.
TFi Pivot Reversal StudyThe Pivot Reversal Study script uses pivot points to create a support and resistance level; based on this levels the script creates virtual stop-market orders to catch the trend if the price is crossing the pivot lines.
A configurable trailing-stop and stop-loss is being used to exit an open position.
The entry and exit points are visualized in the chart via green arrows and crosses; the position follows the exact behavior of the strategy script.
The study also creates alerts, which follow the exact position of the entry/exit markers. Via the input parameter "Alert Message Type" it is possible to select a predefined alertcondition message; right now the script supports a generic default message and a trading setup for Alertatron.
How to use
The study works with all timeframes; the current chart setting is using a 15min timeframe. The strategy enters about 10 trades per day, depending on the used settings.
I'm also providing a "strategy" version of this study, which can be used to backtest the strategy.
How to access
This strategy is a "Invite Only" script. You can can subscribe or purchase the strategy ; please use the link below or send me a message via Tradingview to obtain access to the strategy and study script.
For enabling the script in your Tradingview chart window, click on "Indicators" and select "Invite-Only Scripts".
