Crypto Market Sessions (Institutional) by Ambrosia-Prime v1.2Crypto Market Sessions (Institutional) by Ambrosia-Prime
Understand when liquidity matters – and when it doesn’t.
This indicator visualizes global crypto market sessions based on institutional liquidity, not retail exchange opening hours or local banking schedules.
It is designed to help traders identify high-impact trading windows, potential volatility expansions, and periods of reduced participation — directly on the chart, in a clean and reliable way.
What this indicator does
• Highlights the major institutional crypto liquidity sessions
• Displays local session times with automatic DST handling
• Marks Asia, Europe, EU–US overlap, USA and No-Market phases
• Treats weekends as structurally low-liquidity periods
• Issues holiday warnings when institutional participation is likely reduced
All session logic is UTC-based, making it stable and consistent across all symbols and timeframes.
Institutional session model (UTC)
• Asia: 00:00 – 08:00
• Europe: 07:00 – 13:30
• EU–US Overlap: 13:30 – 16:30
• USA: 16:30 – 21:00
• No Market: 21:00 – 00:00
During the Asia–Europe overlap (07:00–08:00 UTC), both sessions are active.
Europe is visually prioritized due to typically higher institutional volume.
Key features
• True institutional session logic (FX & derivatives driven)
• Automatic DST support via IANA timezones
• Optional manual timezone offset
• Session background highlighting
• Forward-projected session box
• Current-session label (no historical clutter)
• Compact session table with local times
• Algorithmic holiday warning engine (no web data):
– Easter-based holidays (EU / UK)
– Nth-weekday holidays (US / UK)
– Optional observed-day handling
Why this matters
Markets move with liquidity, not with office hours.
This tool helps you:
• avoid trading during structurally thin periods
• focus on high-participation windows
• add time-based context to any strategy
• align crypto trading with institutional market behavior
Designed for BTC, ETH, crypto indices, and any market where liquidity timing matters.

Global Sessions & Kill Zones [jpkxyz]Global Sessions & ICT Kill Zones Indicator
Overview
The Global Sessions & ICT Kill Zones indicator is a comprehensive trading tool designed to help traders identify and visualize the most critical time periods in the 24-hour forex and futures markets. This indicator combines traditional trading session analysis with Inner Circle Trader (ICT) Kill Zone methodology, providing traders with a complete picture of when institutional activity and liquidity are at their peak.
Trading Theory & Foundation
Session-Based Trading
The forex market operates 24 hours a day across four major trading sessions: Sydney, Tokyo, London, and New York. Each session has distinct characteristics in terms of volatility, liquidity, and price behavior. Understanding these sessions is crucial because:
Volatility Patterns: Each session exhibits unique volatility profiles based on which markets are open and which institutional players are active
Liquidity Concentration: Major price movements tend to occur when multiple sessions overlap, as more market participants are active simultaneously
Market Structure: Session highs and lows often act as key support and resistance levels that price respects throughout the trading day
Time-Based Strategies: Many professional traders structure their strategies around specific sessions that align with their preferred instruments and trading style
ICT Kill Zones
The Inner Circle Trader (ICT) methodology emphasizes specific time windows called "Kill Zones" - periods when institutional algorithms and smart money are most active. These time windows represent optimal trading opportunities because:
Institutional Activity: Banks, hedge funds, and large institutions execute their orders during these predictable time windows
Algorithmic Trading: Many institutional algorithms are programmed to operate during these specific periods
Liquidity Sweeps: Kill Zones often feature stop hunts and liquidity grabs before directional moves
Higher Probability Setups: Price is more likely to respect technical levels and follow through on setups during these periods
The four ICT Kill Zones are:
Asian Kill Zone (00:00-03:00 UTC): Early Asian session institutional activity
London Kill Zone (07:00-10:00 UTC): London open and European institutional entry
New York Kill Zone (12:00-14:00 UTC): New York open and North American institutional entry
London Close Kill Zone (15:00-17:00 UTC): European session close and position squaring
What This Indicator Visualizes
Trading Session Boxes
The indicator draws high-to-low range boxes for each major trading session:
Sydney Session (21:00-06:00 UTC): Captures the Australian and early Asian trading activity
Tokyo Session (00:00-09:00 UTC): Represents the main Asian trading period
London Session (08:00-17:00 UTC): Covers the European trading hours
New York Session (13:00-22:00 UTC): Encompasses North American trading activity
Each session box displays:
The session's high and low price levels
Customizable colored borders and fills
Labels showing the exact high and low values
Real-time updates as price moves within the active session
Session Overlaps
The indicator automatically identifies and highlights all session overlaps with distinct colored boxes:
Sydney/Tokyo Overlap: Asian liquidity concentration
Tokyo/London Overlap: Asian-European transition period
London/New York Overlap: The most volatile period with maximum liquidity
Sydney/New York Overlap: Late US session into early Asian session
These overlaps are crucial because they represent periods of increased liquidity when multiple major markets are operating simultaneously, often leading to significant price movements and breakouts.
ICT Kill Zones
Kill Zones are displayed as vertical background highlights that span the entire chart height during their active periods:
Visual clarity: Semi-transparent colored backgrounds that don't obstruct price action
Label identification: Each Kill Zone is labeled at its start for easy recognition
Overlay capability: Kill Zones overlay on top of session boxes, allowing you to see both simultaneously
Independent control: Each Kill Zone can be toggled on/off individually
How Traders Can Use This Indicator
Entry Timing
Wait for Kill Zones: Use Kill Zones as your primary trading windows to increase the probability of institutional support for your trades
Session Boundaries: Look for breakouts or reversals at session open/close times when new participants enter the market
Overlap Periods: Focus on high-conviction setups during session overlaps when liquidity is highest
Support & Resistance
Session Highs/Lows: Previous session highs and lows often act as key support/resistance levels
Sweep Setups: Watch for price to sweep session highs/lows during Kill Zones, then reverse (liquidity grab)
Range Trading: Trade within session ranges during low-volatility periods, breakout during overlaps
Risk Management
Volatility Awareness: Adjust position sizing based on which session is active (London/NY overlap = highest volatility)
Stop Placement: Position stops outside of key session levels to avoid being caught in normal intraday ranges
Time-Based Exits: Consider exiting or tightening stops as sessions close and liquidity decreases
Strategy Development
Session-Specific Strategies: Develop different approaches for different sessions based on your instrument's behavior
Kill Zone Confirmation: Require setups to occur within Kill Zones for higher probability trades
Backtesting Framework: Use historical session and Kill Zone data to backtest time-based strategies
Full Customizability
Session Customization
Every aspect of each trading session can be customized:
Toggle Visibility: Show/hide any session independently
Time Adjustment: Modify start and end hours to match your broker's server time or personal preference
Color Schemes: Customize box colors and border colors for each session
Transparency: Adjust fill transparency to see price action clearly while maintaining visual reference
Kill Zone Customization
Complete control over ICT Kill Zone display:
Individual Toggles: Enable or disable each Kill Zone independently based on your trading style
Color Selection: Choose distinct colors for each Kill Zone (default: Green, Blue, Yellow, Red)
Transparency Control: All Kill Zones use 70% transparency by default, fully customizable
Label Display: Toggle Kill Zone labels on/off via the main label settings
Visual Preferences
Border Control: Toggle session box borders on/off for cleaner charts
Label Size: Choose from tiny, small, normal, large, huge, or auto-sizing for all labels
Label Colors: Customize label background and text colors to match your chart theme
Box Transparency: Set individual transparency levels for each session and overlap
Overlap Customization
All four session overlaps have independent color controls:
Sydney/Tokyo Overlap
Tokyo/London Overlap
London/New York Overlap
Sydney/New York Overlap
Technical Features
Midnight Handling
The indicator uses advanced hour-based detection that seamlessly handles sessions crossing midnight (like Sydney's 21:00-06:00 UTC timeframe) without breaking the visualization into separate boxes.
Real-Time Updates
Active Sessions: Boxes extend and update in real-time as price moves during active sessions
High/Low Tracking: Session highs and lows are continuously updated until the session closes
Kill Zone Detection: Background colors appear/disappear precisely at Kill Zone boundaries
Clean Chart Integration
Minimal Clutter: Only shows active and recently completed sessions
Overlay Friendly: Works seamlessly with other indicators and doesn't obstruct price action
Performance Optimized: Efficient code that doesn't slow down chart rendering
Ideal For
Forex Traders: Track the four major forex sessions and plan trades around overlaps
Futures Traders: Identify when specific futures markets have peak activity
ICT Students: Implement Inner Circle Trader concepts with visual Kill Zone references
Session Traders: Build strategies around specific session characteristics
Scalpers & Day Traders: Focus on high-liquidity periods for tighter spreads and better fills
Swing Traders: Use session levels as key support/resistance for multi-day trades
Best Practices
Start Simple: Enable only the sessions and Kill Zones relevant to your instruments
Color Code Strategically: Use colors that stand out on your chart theme but don't overwhelm
Combine with Price Action: Use session levels and Kill Zones as context, not as standalone signals
Match Your Timezone: Adjust session times if your broker uses non-UTC server time
Focus on Overlaps: Pay special attention to London/New York overlap for highest-probability setups
Journal Performance: Track which sessions and Kill Zones work best for your strategy
Conclusion
The Global Sessions & ICT Kill Zones indicator provides traders with institutional-grade time-based analysis in a highly customizable, visually clear format. By combining traditional session analysis with modern ICT Kill Zone theory, traders gain a comprehensive understanding of when markets are most likely to move and where key levels are established. Whether you're a scalper looking for the highest liquidity periods or a swing trader using session levels for support/resistance, this indicator adapts to your needs while keeping your charts clean and professional.

ICT Asian & London Range + First Presented FVGIndicator: ICT Sessions + First Presented FVG
What it does: This tool automates the markup of key ICT (Inner Circle Trader) timeframes and entry signals. It allows you to trade on higher timeframes (like the 5m or 15m) while the script automatically "looks inside" the 1-minute chart to find specific setups for you.
Key Features:
Session Ranges (Asian & London)
Automatically highlights the Asian Session (8 PM - Midnight NY) and London Open (2 AM - 5 AM NY).
Draws a shaded box for the session's High and Low.
New: Extends the High and Low lines to 4:00 PM NY (end of the trading day) so you can use them as liquidity targets.
The "First Presented" FVG (Sniper Logic)
It detects the very first Fair Value Gap (FVG) that forms on the 1-minute chart immediately after a session starts.
It draws this 1-minute gap on your current chart, regardless of what timeframe you are viewing.
The FVG box automatically extends to the end of the trading day (4 PM NY), showing you where price might return to "mitigate" or react later in the day.
GardFx - Fusion - ORBFusion ORB & Bias Monitor
This indicator is a comprehensive toolkit designed for session-based traders. It combines an Opening Range Breakout (ORB) visualizer with a Multi-Timeframe (MTF) trend bias dashboard. It is designed to help traders identify key session levels while keeping track of the broader market trend.
How it Works
1. Opening Range Breakout (ORB) Lines The script identifies the High and Low prices established during the first 15 minutes of a specific session or a manually defined start time.
Calculation: The script tracks the high and low values of candles occurring within the 15-minute window defined by the user settings. It then projects these levels forward using line.new.
Reset Logic: The lines automatically reset at the start of a new session (London or New York) or at specific reset times to ensure the chart remains clean for the next trading opportunity.
2. Multi-Timeframe Bias Dashboard The dashboard provides a quick "Bullish" or "Bearish" sentiment check across four timeframes: Daily, 4-Hour, 1-Hour, and 15-Minute.
Methodology: The script uses request.security to fetch the closing price and a 50-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) for each timeframe.
Signal:
Bullish: Current Close > 50 EMA
Bearish: Current Close < 50 EMA
3. Exchange Clock & Session Tracker A built-in clock displays the current Exchange Time and identifies the active trading session (Asia, London, or New York). This uses timenow and timezone-specific checks to account for Daylight Savings Time shifts between London and New York.
Settings
Automate Session Times: Toggles between automatic detection of London (08:00) and NY (09:30) opens, or a manual user-defined start time.
Manual Start Hour/Minute: Defines the start of the ORB calculation if automation is disabled.
Bias EMA Length: Adjustable length for the trend detection EMA (Default: 50).
Visuals: Users can customize line colors, width, and toggle the mid-line display.
Usage This tool is best used on lower timeframes (e.g., 1-minute or 5-minute) to visualize the 15-minute opening range boundaries. Traders often observe price action around these high/low lines to determine potential breakouts or reversals, using the MTF Dashboard to align trades with the higher timeframe momentum.

✅ Watch Session Overlaps - The London-New York overlap (1300-1600 UTC) typically shows highest volatility
✅ Respect Session Highs/Lows - These levels often act as intraday support and resistance
✅ Adjust for Your Broker - Verify session times match your broker's server clock
✅ Use Multiple Timeframes - View sessions on both lower (15m) and higher (1H) timeframes for context

Quantura - Session High/LowIntroduction
“Quantura – Session High/Low” is a professional-grade session mapping indicator that automatically identifies and visualizes the highs, lows, and ranges of key global trading sessions — London, New York, and Asia. It helps traders understand when and where liquidity tends to accumulate, allowing for better market structure analysis and session-based strategy alignment.
Originality & Value
This indicator unifies the three most influential global sessions into a single, adaptive visualization tool. Unlike typical session indicators, it dynamically updates live session highs and lows in real time while marking session boundaries and transitions. Its multi-session management system allows for immediate recognition of overlapping liquidity zones — a crucial feature for institutional and intraday traders.
The value and originality come from:
Real-time tracking of session highs, lows, and developing ranges.
Simultaneous visualization of multiple global sessions.
Optional vertical range lines for clearer visual segmentation.
Customizable session times, colors, and time zone offset for global accuracy.
Automatically extending and updating lines as each session progresses.
Functionality & Core Logic
Detects the start and end of each trading session (London, New York, Asia) using built-in time logic and user-defined UTC offsets.
Initializes session-specific high and low variables at the start of each new session.
Continuously updates session high/low levels as new candles form.
Draws color-coded horizontal lines for each session’s high and low.
Optionally adds vertical dotted lines to visually connect session range extremes.
Locks each session’s range once it ends, preserving historical structure for review.
Parameters & Customization
New York Session: Enable/disable, customize time (default 15:30–21:30), and set color.
London Session: Enable/disable, customize time (default 09:00–16:30), and set color.
Asia Session: Enable/disable, customize time (default 02:30–08:00), and set color.
Vertical Line: Toggle dotted vertical lines connecting session high and low levels.
UTC Offset: Adjust session timing to align with your chart’s local time zone.
Visualization & Display
Each session is color-coded for quick identification (default: blue for London, red for New York, green for Asia).
Horizontal lines track evolving session highs and lows in real time.
Once a session closes, the lines remain fixed to mark historical range boundaries.
Vertical dotted lines (optional) visually connect the session’s high and low for clarity.
Supports full overlay display without interfering with other technical indicators.
Use Cases
Identify liquidity zones and range extremes formed during active trading sessions.
Observe session overlaps (London–New York) to anticipate volatility spikes.
Combine with volume or market structure tools for session-based confluence.
Track how price interacts with prior session highs/lows to detect potential reversals.
Analyze session-specific performance patterns for algorithmic or discretionary systems.
Limitations & Recommendations
The indicator is designed for intraday analysis and may not provide meaningful output on daily or higher timeframes.
Adjust session times and UTC offset based on your broker’s or exchange’s timezone.
Does not provide trading signals — it visualizes session structure only.
Combine with liquidity and volatility indicators for full contextual understanding.
Markets & Timeframes
Compatible with all asset classes — including crypto, forex, indices, and commodities — and optimized for intraday timeframes (1m–4h). Particularly useful for traders analyzing session overlaps and volatility transitions.

Market SessionsMarket Sessions (Asian, London, NY, Pacific)
Summary
This indicator plots the main global market sessions (Asian, European, American, Pacific) as boxes on your chart, complete with dynamic high/low tracking.
It's an essential tool for intraday traders to track session-based volatility patterns and visualize key support/resistance levels (like the Asian Range) that often define price action for the rest of the day.
Who it’s for
Intraday traders, scalpers, and day traders who need to visualize market hours and session-based ranges. If your strategy depends on the London open, the New York close, or the Asian range, this script will map it out for you.
What it shows
Customizable Session Boxes: Four fully configurable boxes for the Asian, European (London), American (New York), and Pacific (Sydney) sessions.
Session High & Low: The script tracks and boxes the highest high and lowest low of each session, dynamically updating as the session progresses.
Session Labels: Clear labels (e.g., "AS", "EU") mark each session, anchored to the start time.
Key Features
Powerful Timezone Control: This is the core feature.
Use Exchange Timezone (Default): Simply enter session times (e.g., 8:00 for London) relative to the exchange's timezone (e.g., "NASDAQ" or "BINANCE").
Use UTC Offset: Uncheck the box and enter a UTC offset (e.g., +3 or -5). Now, all session times you enter are relative to that specific UTC offset. This gives you full control regardless of the chart you're on.
Fully Customizable: Toggle any session on/off.
Style Control: Change the fill color, border color, transparency, border width, and line style (Solid, Dashed, Dotted) for each session individually.
Smart Labels: Labels stay anchored to the start of the session (no "sliding") and float just above the session high.
Why this helps
Track Volatility & Market Behavior: Visually identify the "personality" of each session. Some sessions might consistently produce powerful pumps or dumps, while others are prone to sideways "chop" or accumulation. This indicator helps you see these repeating patterns.
Find Key Support/Resistance Levels: The High and Low of a session (e.g., the Asian Range) often become critical support and resistance levels for the next session (e.g., London). This script makes it easy to spot these "session-to-session" S/R flips and reactions.
Aid Statistical Analysis: The script provides the core visual data for your statistical research. You can easily track how often the London session breaks the Asian high, or which session is most likely to reverse the trend, helping you build a robust trading plan.
Context is King: Instantly see which market is active, which are overlapping (like the high-volume London-NY overlap), and which have closed.
Quick setup
Go to Timezone Settings.
Decide how you want to enter times:
Easy (Default): Leave Use Exchange Timezone checked. Enter session times based on the chart's native exchange (e.g., for BTC/USDT on Binance, use UTC+0 times).
Manual (Pro): Uncheck Use Exchange Timezone. Enter your UTC Offset (e.g., +2 for Berlin). Now, enter all session times as they appear on the clock in Berlin.
Go to each session tab (Asian, European...) to enable/disable it and set the correct start/end hours and minutes.
Style the colors to match your chart theme.

DayFlow VWAP Relay Forex Majors StrategySummary in one paragraph
DayFlow VWAP Relay is a day-trading strategy for major FX pairs on intraday timeframes, demonstrated on EURUSD 15 minutes. It waits for alignment between a daily anchored VWAP regime check, residual percentiles, and lower-timeframe micro flow before suggesting trades. The originality is the fusion of daily VWAP residual percentiles with a live micro-flow score from 1 minute data to switch between fade and breakout behavior inside the same session. Add it to a clean chart and use the markers and alerts.
Scope and intent
• Markets: Major FX pairs such as EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD, USDCHF, USDCAD
• Timeframes: One minute to one hour
• Default demo in this publication: EURUSD on 15 minutes
• Purpose: Reduce false starts by acting only when context, location and micro flow agree
• Limits: This is a strategy. Orders are simulated on standard candles only
Originality and usefulness
• Core novelty: Residual percentiles to daily anchored VWAP decide “balanced versus expanding day”. A separate 1 minute micro-flow score confirms direction, so the same model fades extremes in balance and rides range breaks in expansion
• Failure modes addressed: Chop fakeouts and unconfirmed breakouts are filtered by the expansion gate and micro-flow threshold
• Testability: Every input is exposed. Bands, background regime color, and markers show why a suggestion appears
• Portable yardstick: Stops and targets are ATR multiples converted to ticks, which transfer across symbols
• Open source status: No reused third-party code that requires attribution
Method overview in plain language
The day is anchored with a VWAP that updates from the daily session start. Price minus VWAP is the residual. Percentiles of that residual measured over a rolling window define location extremes for the current day. A regime score compares residual volatility to price volatility. When expansion is low, the day is treated as balanced and the model fades residual extremes if 1 minute micro flow points back to VWAP. When expansion is high, the model trades breakouts outside the VWAP bands if slope and micro flow agree with the move.
Base measures
• Range basis: True Range smoothed by ATR for stops and targets, length 14
• Return basis: Not required for signals; residuals are absolute price distance to VWAP
Components
• Daily Anchor VWAP Bands. VWAP with standard-deviation bands. Slope sign is used for trend confirmation on breakouts
• Residual Percentiles. Rolling percentiles of close minus VWAP over Signal length. Identify location extremes inside the day
• Expansion Ratio. Standard deviation of residuals divided by standard deviation of price over Signal length. Classifies balanced versus expanding day
• Micro Flow. Net up minus down closes from 1 minute data across a short span, normalized to −1..+1. Confirms direction and avoids fades against pressure
• Session Window optional. Restricts trading to your configured hours to avoid thin periods
• Cooldown optional. Bars to wait after a position closes to prevent immediate re-entry
Fusion rule
Gating rather than weighting. First choose regime by Expansion Ratio versus the Expansion gate. Inside each regime all listed conditions must be true: location test plus micro-flow threshold plus session window plus cooldown. Breakouts also require VWAP slope alignment.
Signal rule
• Long suggestion on balanced day: residual at or below the lower percentile and micro flow positive above the gate while inside session and cooldown is satisfied
• Short suggestion on balanced day: residual at or above the upper percentile and micro flow negative below the gate while inside session and cooldown is satisfied
• Long suggestion on expanding day: close above the upper VWAP band, VWAP slope positive, micro flow positive, session and cooldown satisfied
• Short suggestion on expanding day: close below the lower VWAP band, VWAP slope negative, micro flow negative, session and cooldown satisfied
• Positions flip on opposite suggestions or exit by brackets
What you will see on the chart
• Markers on suggestion bars: L for long, S for short
• Exit occurs on reverse signal or when a bracket order is filled
• Reference lines: daily anchored VWAP with upper and lower bands
• Optional background: teal for balanced day, orange for expanding day
Inputs with guidance
Setup
• Signal length. Residual and regime window. Typical 40 to 100. Higher smooths, lower reacts faster
Micro Flow
• Micro TF. Lower timeframe used for micro flow, default 1 minute
• Micro span bars. Count of lower-TF bars. Typical 5 to 20
• Micro flow gate 0..1. Minimum absolute flow. Raising it demands stronger confirmation and reduces trade count
VWAP Bands
• VWAP stdev multiplier. Band width. Typical 0.8 to 1.6. Wider bands reduce breakout frequency and increase fade distance
• Expansion gate 0..3. Threshold to switch from fades to breakouts. Raising it favors fades, lowering it favors breakouts
Sessions
• Use session filter. Enable to trade only inside your window
• Trade window UTC. Default 07:00 to 17:00
Risk
• ATR length. Stop and target basis. Typical 10 to 21
• Stop ATR x. Initial stop distance in ATR multiples
• Target ATR x. Profit target distance in ATR multiples
• Cooldown bars after close. Wait bars before a new entry
• Side. Both, long only, or short only
View
• Show VWAP and bands
• Color bars by residual regime
Properties visible in this publication
• Initial capital 10000
• Base currency Default
• request.security uses lookahead off everywhere
• Strategy: Percent of equity with value 3. Pyramiding 0. Commission cash per order 0.0001 USD. Slippage 3 ticks. Process orders on close ON. Bar magnifier ON. Recalculate after order is filled OFF. Calc on every tick OFF. Using standard OHLC fills ON.
Realism and responsible publication
No performance claims. Past results never guarantee future outcomes. Fills and slippage vary by venue. Shapes can move while a bar forms and settle on close. Strategies must run on standard candles for signals and orders.
Honest limitations and failure modes
High impact news, session opens, and thin liquidity can invalidate assumptions. Very quiet days can reduce contrast between residuals and price volatility. Session windows use the chart exchange time. If both stop and target are touched within a single bar, TradingView’s standard OHLC price-movement model decides the outcome.
Expect different behavior on illiquid pairs or during holidays. The model is sensitive to session definitions and feed time. Past results never guarantee future outcomes.
