The timeframe of the indicator can be the current one or custom selected but gives better visual information if a longer timeframe than the current one is used.
The colors can be changed to fit with "Dark mode" or "Light mode"
a scaling option is available to downscale the trend indication relative to the price bars

ADX histogram with SMAThis indicator shows a histogram of the ADX with the following colors:
Background gray => ADX under configured lower level which means no trend is present
Background dark orange => ADX between lower and upper level and down trend is present
Background orange => ADX between over upper level and down trend is overheated
Background dark green => ADX between lower and upper level and up trend is present
Background lime => ADX between over upper level and up trend is overheated
Additionally i have added a SMA of the ADX. The crossings of both are shown with a background color:
yellow => ADX crossed SMA line upward which is the case with rising trend
fuchsia => ADX crossed SMA line downward which is the case with falling trend
The indicator is optimated for small browser windows or multiple chart layouts where you have not much space left for your indicators but you also want to read the indicator signals.

Long Term Swing Position Indicator Alpha VersionThis is a early version of a swing trading indicator I have been working on. It uses EMAs and ADX to find entries. This will eventually be integrated into my main trading indicator. The strategy is defaulted to start with 17,000 capital and trade with 100 percent of equity. You can test different ranges of dates by going into the settings and changing the end dates of the backtest. It is defaulted to test from 1/1/2018 to the current time. Keep in mind if you keep it set to use 100% equity it will not be able to enter positions if the initial capital is less than the price of 1 bitcoin -3.31% at the beginning of the test range. It currently has a pretty low success rate, but the average winning trade is significantly larger than the average losing trade so it still makes a significant profit. This has only been tested so far on the 15 minute and 30 minute charts for Bitfinex:BTCUSD.
The end goal for this indicator is to allow me to enter long term future positions to hold while I trade swaps on the short and medium term. This will allow me to increase profits.
This strategy will be changing significantly in the future as I test various ideas and setting configurations to maximize the effectiveness, but feel free to use it however you want.

ADX and DI (Average Directional Index) - CORRECT FORMULASo... the popular version of "ADX and DI" shown on tradingview by masanakamura uses some wacky and incorrect formula for DI and uses SMA instead of the Wilder's MA that ADX/DI is supposed to use, and doesn't give the correct ADX and DI values. The Tradingview "Average Directional Index" uses the correct calculation but doesn't show DI+ and DI-. So, here it is with the DI+ and DI- visible. Enjoy!
15 Minute Bitcoin Indicator 1.0Indicator Description:
This is a premium indicator that is intended for trading on the 15 minute time scale. This script uses ADX to judge the strength of trends. When a trend is confirmed by ADX, the indicator uses SRSI to find the optimal entry. The indicator works best on BITFINEX:BTCUSD .
Instructions:
Whenever there is a sell signal exit the current long and vice versa. If a close signal appears close the current position but do not open another trade in opposite direction. There is a indicator based stop loss system that is built into the signals, but no static stop loss based on % loss or pips moved in one direction.
Available Settings :
1. Buying and Selling Thresholds: These are the values that are used with SRSI to determine entries. The default values were experimentally determined
to be the most profitable.
2. Stacked Orders Allowed: This limits the amount of positions that can be entered in the same direction. This is useful for trading with leverage. This is defaulted to 2 because I limit myself to 2x leverage. Backtesting shows the more orders allowed, the more profitable, but also risk is increased.
3. ADX/DI Settings: These are settings the ADX smoothing and DI length.

This is a strategy that enters and exits positions on the exact same criteria as this indicator. For the simulation the capital was 10,000 dollars and it was allowed to go up to 2x leverage. Each trade used 100% of available funds. The same simulation done from 1/1/2018 to 4/10/2018 resulted in:

RSI Strategy condition experimentThis is a scalping indicator built for bitcoin on the 15m chart. It uses ADX and SRSI. A full indicator will be released very soon. Please comment with any questions or comments. The strategy ran below is the results if you started trading on 3/9/2018 with 10,000$ usd, and used 100% of your equity to enter positions. This is also designed to allow 2x leverage when certain conditions are met, which is the default. This feature can be turned off in settings.

Blue line: longs
Red line: shorts
Histogram: net volume, ohlc4 of both. Green if previous candle close had lower net volume, black if the previous candle close had more.
Deviance from the histogram: increased volume for the long or short side
Optional ADX line with customizable lookback; it can be difficult to understand due to it being completely horizontal unless you turn off the other plots.

Range Breakout PredictorHi everyone, I put this together while learning Pine and wanted to share to see if anyone finds it useful.
It does a decent job predicting the direction of breakouts from range conditions, as well as picking up some easy trend profits. I had some fun making it quite configurable for those who would like to tune it for a particular index (for example, check out GOOG at 1 hour resolution with the default values, just for fun).
