Historic Deep Freeze - Catalyst for Large Sell-off in TSLA
Much of the country is experiencing a significant deep-freeze. Texas is witnessing historic cold and power outages.
I believe this winter disaster is going to be the catalyst for a correction in Tesla and will adversely affect the sentiment around EV.
I don't care about the politics involved, I am thinking of the average Joe. As Joe sits in the dark and cannot warm the house for his family, let alone charge his phone, will Joe's confidence in EV's take a hit? I believe it will.
Tesla and other green tech is rooted in the confidence of people in the integrity of the electric grid. I believe we're going to see that in sales numbers over the next few years. Tesla is going to feel the Bern.
The grid doesn't get better overnight and many folks won't go the EV route on merely a promise of a better system, they will need to see it.
If one's only vehicle is electric and the S**T hits the fan, will it get you outta Dodge? This will be a real question potential EV buyers will be asking.
To compound this issue, we have Musk himself becoming unfocused--making large investments in Bitcoin on behalf of Tesla instead of focusing capital into improving his products. When BTC sells off due to 'profit taking' it's going to pull TSLA down further.
Tesla will survive, but some very sobering days are ahead. Be careful!

That didn't take long.. The bottom is in. Though Tesla will struggle with EV sales, they will make up for it elsewhere, they have their hands into many other promising directions.
