Looking at the weekly chart of GBPUSD, we can see that it has met its resistance level at 1.22789 several times and fails to break above it. This is the litmus test now for the price action to move up and rallied above this level to continue its way up. Failure to do so would see the price action hovering at 1.193 to the resistance level at 1.2278 for a while before it decides its next course of action.
