Simple strategy I sometimes employ....or at least look at.
I overlay a 12 period simple moving average of RSI over the standard RSI and watch for bullish or bearish crossovers.
A Parabolic Sar dot reversal at the time of RSI crossover is helpful to confirm the signal.
Most times it leads to decent results however you will get the occasional head fake or choppy sideways action that can be frustrating. Just be aware it happens.
