VWAP with RSIVWAP with RSI Indicator
Overview
The VWAP with RSI Indicator is a powerful tool that combines the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) to provide traders with comprehensive insights into price trends, volume-weighted price levels, and market momentum. This dual-indicator setup enhances your trading strategy by offering a clearer understanding of the market conditions, potential entry and exit points, and trend reversals.
Key Features
VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price):
Calculation: The VWAP is calculated using the high, low, and close prices, weighted by trading volume over a specified period.
Purpose: VWAP provides an average price that reflects the trading volume at different price levels, helping traders identify the true average price over a given period.
Visualization: The VWAP line is plotted in blue on the price chart, indicating the volume-weighted average price.
RSI (Relative Strength Index):
Calculation: RSI is based on the average gains and losses over a specified period (default is 14 periods) and ranges from 0 to 100.
Purpose: RSI measures the speed and change of price movements, identifying overbought or oversold conditions in the market.
Overbought/Oversold Levels:
Overbought: RSI above 70 (red line).
Oversold: RSI below 30 (green line).
Midline: RSI at 50 (gray dashed line).
Visualization: The RSI line changes color based on its value (purple for normal, red for overbought, green for oversold) and is plotted below the price chart.
Background Fill for RSI:
Overbought Area: Shaded red when RSI is above 70.
Oversold Area: Shaded green when RSI is below 30.
Bullish and Bearish Divergence Detection:
Bullish Divergence: Occurs when price forms a lower low, but RSI forms a higher low, indicating potential upward reversal.
Visualization: Bullish divergence points are marked with a green line and labeled "Bull."
Bearish Divergence: Occurs when price forms a higher high, but RSI forms a lower high, indicating potential downward reversal.
Visualization: Bearish divergence points are marked with a red line and labeled "Bear."
Alerts: Conditions for bullish and bearish divergences trigger alerts.
Settings
VWAP Settings:
hideonDWM: Option to hide VWAP on daily or higher timeframes.
src: Source for VWAP calculation (default is hlc3 - (high + low + close)/3).
offset: Offset for plotting the VWAP.
RSI Settings:
rsiLengthInput: Period length for RSI calculation (default is 14).
rsiSourceInput: Source for RSI calculation (default is close price).
maTypeInput: Type of moving average applied to RSI (options: SMA, EMA).
maLengthInput: Length of the moving average applied to RSI.
How to Use
Trend Identification: Use VWAP to identify the average price level and market trend. If the price is above VWAP, it suggests an uptrend, and if below, it suggests a downtrend.
Overbought/Oversold Conditions: Use RSI to identify potential reversal points. RSI above 70 indicates overbought conditions, and below 30 indicates oversold conditions.
Divergence: Look for bullish or bearish divergences between price and RSI to anticipate potential trend reversals.
Conclusion
By combining VWAP and RSI, this indicator provides a robust framework for analyzing market conditions, identifying trends, and making more informed trading decisions. Enhance your trading strategy today with the VWAP with RSI Indicator!

VWAP LEVELS [PRO]32 VWAP levels with labels and a table to help you identify quickly where current price is in relation to your favorite VWAP pivot levels. To help reduce cognitive load, 4 colors are used to show you where price is in relation to a VWAP level as well as the strength of that respective level. Ultimately, VWAP can be an invaluable source of support and resistance; in other words you'll often see price bounce off of a level (whether price is increasing or decreasing) once or multiple times and that could be an indication of a price's direction. Another way that you could utilize this indicator is to use it in confluence with other popular signals, such as an EMA crossover. Many traders will wait till a bar's close on the 5m or 10m time frame above a VWAP level (developing 1D VWAP would be a popular choice) before making a decision on a potential trade especially if price is rising above the 1D VWAP *and* there's been a recent 100 EMA cross UP of the 200 EMA. These are 2 bullish signals that you could look for before possibly entering in to a trade.
I've made this indicator extremely customizable:
⚡Each VWAP level has 2 labels: 1 "at level" and 1 "at right", each label and price can be disabled
⚡Each VWAP label has its own input for label padding. The "at right" label padding input allows you to zoom in and out of a chart without the labels moving along their respective axis. However, the "at level" label padding input doesn't work the same way once you move the label out of the "0" input. The label will move slightly when you zoom in and out
⚡Both "current" and "previous" VWAP levels have their own plot style that can be changed from circles, crosses and lines
⚡Significant figures input allows you to round a price up or down
⚡A price line that allows you to identify where price is in relation to a VWAP level
⚡A table that's color coded the same way as the labels. The labels and table cells change to 1 of 4 colors when "OC Check Mode" is enabled. This theory examines if the VWAP from the Open is above or below the VWAP from Close and if price is above or below normal VWAP (HLC3). This way we have 4 states:
Red = Strong Downtrend
Light Red = Weak Downtrend
Light = Weak Uptrend
Green = Strong Uptrend
Something to keep in mind: At the start of a new year, week or month, some levels will converge and they'll eventually diverge slowly or quickly depending on the level and/or time frame. You could add a few labels "at level" to show which levels are converging at the time. Since we're at the beginning of a new year, you'll see current month, 2 month, 3 month etc converge in to one level.
🙏Thanks to (c)MartinWeb for the inspiration behind this indicator.
🙏Thanks to (c)SimpleCryptoLife for the libraries and code to help create the labels.
CUSTOM VWAP EMAThe Custom VWAP EMA (Volume-Weighted Average Price Exponential Moving Average) indicator is a powerful tool developed by Vedic Trading to provide traders with valuable insights into market trends and potential reversals. This indicator combines two key elements: the VWAP and the 37 EMA, along with a color-changing feature, to enhance trading decisions.
The VWAP is a popular technical analysis tool used to calculate the average price at which a security has traded throughout the day, taking into account both price and volume. It provides a weighted average based on the volume traded at different price levels, giving more importance to higher volume areas. The VWAP helps traders identify areas of support and resistance and provides a reference point for assessing the fair value of an asset.
The 37 EMA is an exponential moving average calculated by placing more weight on recent price data points. It helps smooth out price fluctuations and provides a visual representation of the overall trend. The 37 EMA is commonly used to identify the direction of the market and potential entry and exit points.
The Custom VWAP EMA indicator combines the VWAP and the 37 EMA to provide traders with a comprehensive view of market dynamics. It calculates the VWAP for different time intervals, such as 15 minutes, daily, and weekly, allowing traders to assess the intraday, daily, and longer-term trends.
One unique feature of this custom indicator is the color-changing capability. The indicator's color changes based on the relationship between the VWAP and the 37 EMA. For example, if the VWAP is above the 37 EMA, the indicator may turn green, indicating a potential bullish trend. Conversely, if the VWAP falls below the 37 EMA, the indicator may change to red, suggesting a potential bearish trend. This color-coded visual cue helps traders quickly identify market conditions and potential trade opportunities.
The Custom VWAP EMA indicator developed by Vedic Trading provides traders with a comprehensive analysis of market trends by combining the VWAP and the 37 EMA. Its color-changing feature enhances the visual interpretation, making it easier for traders to spot potential trading opportunities. This indicator can be a valuable tool for traders seeking to make informed decisions based on the interplay between volume, price, and trend dynamics.

JMF MTF historical Vwap map and static levels. What is a vwap map?
This is a Multi time frame Historical vwap heatmap. The study plots lines and maps out historical vwap zones based on closing vwap value of the time frame selected and the time frames high range. Show casing high volume concentration areas and low volume area's from each time frame chosen on chart.
Static Vwap Lines can be turned off in settings, as well as the map, you can use each individually or paired together for a more complete overview of the levels. You can also refine the search by using the "Gap %" input. This will filter out and search for average price's that have gapped up or down "X" percent from the previous days average price. Leaving you with Static vwaps and map zones from the most important "Gap Day's". This helps clean up the over all visual, but be careful choosing a higher gap percentage, that you don't lose too much granularity the map offers.
What will a "Static vwap and Map look like"
The look will vary greatly depending on where the stock is in its historical range. If the name is in a consolidation range with a lot of recent average prices directly above and below, you will have a heavy, crowded, Darker/intense heat signature from the map, You will also see levels in map mode over lapping and lines bundled together. These high traffic area's can act as great support or resistance since they are showing a congregation of historical average prices where participants have previously interacted. On the contrary, if you see "open air" in the map, or large areas of blank chart where no heat signature is mapping, this is an area of LOW volume and average prices. Current price will or can move quickly through these areas IF price accepts inside the open air range. If price does NOT accept inside the open air range, Then the blank low volume zone can and will act as support or resistance given the situation.
Capture the gaps.
I look to capture these "Gaps" created by the map and static levels both long or short. I have noticed over time that the higher time frame maps zones are WELL respected intraday, Daily, Weekly, Monthly etc. I look for areas where we are clearing a high volume zone, we break above, hold and accept into open air, and start to move through the open air zones up or down.
I also use the more granular smaller levels as support and resistance intraday while in plays.
Time frames and settings .
User has 3 inputs for seperate time frames to show. You can show a combo of all 3 timeframes, or you can show only a single time frame of your choosing, or two. Mix and match with the string input time frames.
Acceptable inputs are - 5,10,15,30,60,90,240,D,W,M,2D,4W,3M and so on. Any combination of string input timeframe should work, that means numbers (5,10,15,etc) or letters (D,W,M,etc) or combination of the two.
Look and feel
Each time frame has its own color input, transparency input, line style input, and line weight input. User can customize any of the lines or maps to their liking with a wide variety of styles, widths, and colors.
Any or all of the time frames can be enabled or disabled as well, to make the map as busy, or as calm as you would like.
Enjoy !
In the end I encourage any who tries the Heatmap to really sit down and spend some time playing around with the settings in order to find out how they like the map set up. I usually run the default settings on a intraday 5min chart, and then another instance of the study on a 15min chart with W,M,3M. plotted. That way I can see granular intraday levels, and macro long term levels in the same view. See what fit's you the best, and how you like to trade. Most of all ENJOY!
Good luck -
JMF.

VWAP and previous VWAP for Support & Resistance for D W MI overhauled my old multi timeframe VWAP script to make the VWAP OC-Check work for all timeframes. Now only one function is used to calculate the 3 preset VWAPs.
Previous VWAPS = the price where the last session closed sometimes work as Support and Resistance.
The OC-Check Mode theory examines if the VWAP from the Open is above or below the VWAP from Close
and if price is above or below normal VWAP (HLC3).
This way we have 4 states:
Red = Strong Downtrend
Orange = Weak Downtrend
Blue = Weak Uptrend
Green = Strong Uptrend
As always it is just a theory - nothing is set in stone regarding any indicator.
Haye VWAPThis is VWAP but instead of average price resetting daily, you choose the VWAP reset period.
You could choose an Hourly VWAP, or a 2D VWAP, the choice is yours.
To show the functionality compared to normal VWAP, the below shows Haye VWAP (White) and normal VWAP (red), both set to Daily timeframes and on a Daily Chart.
As you can see, they're identical.
Then the following shows a 15min chart, with VWAP set to 15min timeframe and Haye VWAP set to Daily.
Again, notice they're identical because even when you change the timeframe of the regular VWAP, it still "resets" the average price calculation Daily.
Finally you can see what happens when we change the Haye VWAP period, the average price calculation resets based on the period you choose.
In this case Haye VWAP and regular VWAP are both set to 240 (4Hour) on a 5min chart.
The regular VWAP is displaying the 4Hour data of the VWAP (which resets Daily).
The Haye VWAP (in White) is displaying the Volume Weighted Average Price of the 5min bars, resetting every 4Hours.
This allows us to use the principles of VWAP but apply it to shorter (or longer) timeframes. For example, you could have a VWAP that resets hourly, or a longer VWAP that resets every 2Days.
VolumatrixVolumatrix is an enhanced volume weighted price indicator with advanced features
Created by CryptoJew & CryptoTiger on 04-06-2021
👋 Definition
Volumatrix turns current and historical price data into enhanced volume weighted price plots that allow you to visually grasp the momentum of any given market.
It’s easy to use and provides an accurate reading about an ongoing trend. This indicator is optimized to catch trend movements as soon as possible and to maximize certainty.
🙌 Overview
The Volumatrix indicator is based on an enhanced VWAP calculation, which serves as a present and upcoming price movement indication.
The further away the VWAP Wave is from the Zero Line, the more powerful the momentum is in that direction.
Conversely, the closer the VWAP Wave is to the Zero Line, the less momentum it has.
⭐️ Features
Volumatrix consists of the following features:
VWAP Waves: Visualizes the market's momentum in an easy-to-understand way by drawing colored waves.
VWAP Average: Acts as a calibration line for current wave movements.
Bearish & Bullish Dots: Indicates and confirms immediate trend changes by printing dual-colored dots.
E MA Backgrounds: Shows the general direction of the market, based on the exponential moving average (EMA).
In-depth alerts: Help traders discover potential trades with less time.
☝️ Basics
The Volume Weighted Average Price plays an essential role, as the Volumatrix indicator uses an enhanced VWAP calculation.
The volume weighted average price (VWAP) is a great technical trading indicator used by traders as it accounts for both price and volume.
VWAP signals the ratio of the cumulative share price to the cumulative volume traded over a given time.
It is essential because it provides traders with advanced insight into the trend and value of an asset.
Unlike moving averages, VWAP assigns more weight to price points with high volume.
This allows one to understand price points of interest, gauge relative strength, and identify prime entries/exits.
VWAP works with any interval: seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, etc...
However, keep in mind that VWAP can also experience some lag, much like a moving average.
Lag is inherent in the indicator because it's a calculation of an average using past data.
🧮 Calculation
Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) is constructed with two parameters, namely, price and volume, in 5 steps:
1. Calculate the Typical Price for the period.
((High + Low + Close)/3)
2. Multiply the Typical Price by the period Volume
(Typical Price x Volume)
3. Create a Cumulative Total of Typical Price
Cumulative(Typical Price x Volume)
4. Create a Cumulative Total of Volume
Cumulative(Volume)
5. Divide the Cumulative Totals
VWAP = Cumulative(Typical Price x Volume) / Cumulative(Volume)
🔍 Trend Identification - What to look for
VWAP is an excellent way to identify the trend of a market.
When using Volumatrix, you are looking for multiple confirmations that take place simultaneously.
The more confirmations that occur at the same time; the more certain the indicator will be.
You can identify the direction of a market by looking out for a few critical confirming signals.
📈 Bullish Trend Confirmations:
VWAP Wave overcrossing Zero Line :
When the VWAP Wave is crossing over the Zero Line, it indicates an immediate bullish trend.
This is one of the most certain moves that one can detect in Volumatrix.
This means that the price is about to change direction.
This is the case for any timeframe: seconds, minutes, hours, days, week, month, year, etc.
VWAP Wave color turning bullish:
When a bullish trend is about to happen, the VWAP Wave will change its color to yellow and finally to green.
That way, one can preemptively detect an upcoming bullish move.
In general, the VWAP Wave can change to 3 different colors.
Green means bullish.
Bullish Dots:
From time to time, bullish green dots will appear.
When combined with other indications, the Bullish Dots can be handy in confirming an upcoming or present uptrend.
That said, one should never solely rely on dots when deciding whether the trend is bullish or not.
Instead, if a trader sees a green dot, it should be taken as a hint to look for further bullish indications.
EMA Background:
One can identify the general trend of a market by looking at the background color of the indicator.
When the background is green, one can assume that a bullish trend is present.
The background color changes based on the exponential moving average (EMA).
By default, the 200 EMA is set. Change this value based on your timeframe preferences.
VWAP Average:
When the white VWAP Average line crosses above the Zero Line, it acts as an additional trend confirmation when combined with the VWAP waves.
As the VWAP average does not weigh in the short-term movements too heavily, it is less affected by immediate volatility.
Therefore, traders usually use the VWAP Average as a calibration tool to interpret the VWAP Waves more precisely.
📉 Bearish Trend Confirmations:
VWAP Wave under crossing Zero Line:
When the VWAP Wave is crossing under the Zero Line, it indicates an immediate bearish trend.
This is one of the most certain moves that one can detect in Volumatrix. This means that the price is about to change direction.
This is the case for any timeframe: seconds, minutes, hours, days, week, month, year, etc.
VWAP Wave turning bearish:
When a bearish trend is about to happen, the VWAP Wave will change its color to yellow and then finally to red.
That way, one can preemptively detect an upcoming bearish move. In general, the VWAP Wave can change to 3 different colors.
Red means bearish.
Bearish Dots:
From time to time, bearish red dots will appear.
When combined with other indications, the bearish dots can be handy in confirming an upcoming or present downtrend.
That said, one should never solely rely on dots when deciding whether the trend is bearish or not.
Instead, if a trader sees a red dot, it should be taken as a hint to look for further bearish indications.
EMA Background:
One can identify the general trend of a market by looking at the background color of the indicator.
When the background is red, one can assume that a bearish trend is present.
The background color changes based on the exponential moving average (EMA).
By default, the 200 EMA is set. Change this value based on your timeframe preferences.
VWAP Average:
When the white VWAP Average line crosses below the Zero Line, it acts as an additional trend confirmation if combined with the VWAP waves.
As the VWAP average does not weigh in the short-term movements too heavily, it is less affected by immediate volatility.
Therefore, traders usually use the VWAP Average as a calibration tool to interpret the VWAP Waves more precisely.
💤 Sideways Trend Confirmations:
VWAP Average:
When the VWAP Average is parallel and hovering around the Zero Line, either above or below it, that will indicate a sideways trend.
🚦 Usage - How and where to use it
