Barcolor
+ TRSIHello again.
Here I have an improved version of the RSI that is similar to my "+ %B" indicator (that, an improved version of the %B).
This version of the RSI includes candle coloring for bullish or bearish bias (is the RSI above or below its median line?), as well as candle coloring for overbought and oversold areas. Additionally, there is an option for coloring candles based on the RSI crossing up or down its moving average.
So, that takes us on to the moving average. You have a selection of these, namely: SMA, EMA, DEMA, TEMA, HMA, JMA, LSMA, MF, SMA (the default), TMA, VAMA, and WMA. These are all very different, so play around and choose one that fits your trading style, or whatever it is you're looking for (or even turn it off if you like!).
I've added alerts, so you can be alerted based on wherever the RSI goes. Is it oversold? Did it just cross the median? Did it cross up or down its MA?
I hope you enjoy it!
Bjorgum SuperScript
Bjorgum Reversal
Bj Reversal uses Tilson moving averages to identify trend changes
Bars change to yellow as bar close crosses the Tilson moving averages. Blue or red is confirmed as the two Tilson averages themselves cross.
Reversal is great for pinpointing trend change often giving the absolute best entry or exit
Its sensitive nature can mean more false signals on some assets
Be sure to use other indicators from the Bjorgum Collection to confirm signals, or use another strategy that fits the asset or time frame being viewed
Bjorgum HEMA Strategy
Hema uses HA smoothed EMAs to identify trend direction
Default EMA lengths are 5,9, and 21 period
Bar Color will change Malibu or Ruby on a cross of BOTH 5 and 9 EMA
The lengths are customizable to whatever lengths the user desires
Rolando Santos True Relative Movement (TRM)
This underrated momentum strategy conceptualized by Rolando Santos uses 2 indicators to give a 3 color scheme
A leading indicator (RSI) is combined with a lagging indicator (TSI) to produce bar colors based on the condition of each indicator
Both indicators in positive territory produce blue bars
Both indicators in negative bias produce yellow bars
If signals are mixed (one up one down) bars become grey
Speed Selection
The Bjorgum speed selector optimizes the strategy based on the users desires or trading style at the touch of a button
Fast setting is better for swing trades - more timely signals, more whipsaw
Slow setting is better for longer holds or more volatile assets - slower signals, smooths out whipsaw
RSI Bar Color
RSI color changes bar color based on user defined RSI values
Buy/ sell signals are typically given on a cross of the 50 level
Speed selector (fast/Slow) automatically changes lengths between Bj RSI (5 period) and a standard RSI (14 period)
Additional capabilities can be mixed and matched from strategies in the "Strategy Override" section
Add-ons include:
Tilson - The moving average system from Bjorgum Reversal can be toggled to couple with another bar color strategy by clicking this button
PSAR - Parabolic Stop and Reverse indicator can help with trend direction, volatility, and stop losses
HEMA - The 3 moving average system from the HEMA strategy can be coupled with any of the other strategies by clicking "Show HEMA"
Bj Arrows - These arrows plot at the bar level to draw attention to when the BJ TSI is "curling" (See profile for Bjorgum TSI and download today)
-Optional "Plotbar Overlay" plots bars with Heikin-Ashi Inputs when toggled
-This allows for the benefits of price smoothing without sacrificing moving average and indicator performance as real close value is still used
-This can also help on short time frames and improve results with crypto! The user must "mute" the main series candles when in use to avoid candle overlap.
-Optional price line as muting main bars will disable the TradingView default price line. The horizontal plot will track the real closing price while in HA mode!
+ True RSIThis is a better, cleaner version (in my opinion) of an part of an indicator I was using that was coded up by cI8DH. I reached out to him about cleaning up the code (things weren't working) for Pinescript v4, but he no longer seems to be active, so I thought I might take it upon myself to at least work out this portion of the indicator.
Much credit goes to him. Below is the indicator that he coded, of which only one part have I made additions to.
So, he calls this the True RSI. I was using it as part of the USI, which I posted above (it's the MA Percent indicator type). To my eyes it's not far different from the standard RSI, so I probably could have just made a version of that, but I like this one, and I was excited to add a few things (like candle coloring, which no longer works with his version!).
So, what's different?
I added two different background fills.
I made the lines types for the extremities and midline more appropriate for the indicator.
I added bullish, bearish, overbought, and oversold candle coloring.
I added a multitude of moving averages as well.
If this looks like my '+ %B' indicator, that is because I basically just moved the MA's and candle coloring code over. One could probably do this with many different indicators.
In the future I will probably add alerts, and maybe MA cross candles as well. Or not. Well, almost certainly alerts. Please enjoy!
Bollinger Bands Bar ColoringThis is a simple script that colors bars/candles based on where price is relative to the basis, and the upper and lower bands of the Bollinger Bands.
If price is above the basis, candles will be colored green, and if price is below the basis, candles will be colored red.
If price is outside of the bands on either side, the candles will be colored a darker shade of either color depending on if it is above or below.
I created this indicator because I like that at a glance I can have an idea of the bullishness or bearishness of price action based on the Bollinger Bands, without actually having the Bands overlayed on my charts.
It's also quite nice because I find that the areas where there is a shift in candle color (especially from green to red and vice versa) aid in identifying levels of support and resistance, and shifts in market structure.
I have another indicator that is a huge modification of the Bollinger Bands %B, which includes the candle coloring (and MAs), but this frees up space on my chart while still providing me with the primary information I'm looking for.

+ BB %B: MA selection, bar coloring, multi-timeframe, and alerts+ %B is, at its simplest, the classic Bollinger Bands %B indicator with a few added bells and whistles.
However, the right combination of bells and whistles will often improve and make a more adaptable indicator.
Classically, Bollinger Bands %B is an indicator that measures volatility, and the momentum and strength of a trend, and/or price movements.
It shows "overbought" and "oversold" spots on a chart, and is also useful for identifying divergences between price and trend (similar to RSI).
With + %B I've added the options to select one or two moving averages, candle coloring, and a host of others.
Let's start with the moving averages:
There are options for two: one faster and one slower. Or combine them how you will, or omit one or both of them entirely.
Here you will find options for SMA, EMA (as well as double and triple), Hull MA, Jurik MA, Least Squares MA, Triangular MA, Volatility Adjusted MA, and Weighted MA.
A moving average essentially helps to define trend by smoothing the noise of movements of the underlying asset, or, in this case, the output of the indicator.
All of these MAs available track this in a different way, and it's up to the trader to figure out which makes most sense to him/her.
MA's, in my opinion, improve the basic %B by providing a clearer picture of what the indicator is actually "seeing", and may be useful for providing entries and exits.
Next up is candle coloring:
I've added the option for this indicator to color candles on the chart based on where the %B is in relation to its upper and lower bounds, and median line.
If the %B is above the median but below the upper bound, candles will be green (showing bullish market structure). If %B is below the median but above the lower bound, candles will be red (denoting bearish market structure).
Overbought and oversold candles will also be colored on the chart, so that a quick glance will tell you whether price action is bullish/bearish or "oversold"/"overbought".
I've also added functionality that enables candles to be colored based on if the %B has crossed up or crossed down the primary moving average.
One example as a way to potentially use these features is if the candles are showing oversold coloration followed by the %B crossing up your moving average coloration. You might consider a long there (or exit a short position if you are short).
And the last couple of tweaks:
You may set the timeframe to whatever you wish, so maybe you're trading on the hourly, but you want to know where the %B is on the 4h chart. You can do that.
The background fill for the indicator is split into bullish and bearish halves. Obviously you may turn the background off, or make it all one color as well.
I've also added alerts, so you may set alerts for "overbought" and "oversold" conditions.
You may also set alerts for %B crossing over or under the primary moving average, or for crossing the median line.
All of these things may be turned on and off. You can pretty much customize this to your heart's delight. I see no reason why anyone would use the standard %B after playing with this.
I am no coder. I had this idea in my head, though, and I made it happen through referencing another indicator I was familiar with, and watching tutorials on YouTube.

Bjorgum EMAThis is an answer back to repeated requests for a simple version of Bjorgum Triple EMA Strat, which is not recommended for use with Heiken Ashi candles as it results in "double smoothing" of the averages and can give late signals as a result.
The inputs are raw and super basic. At its core its really just 3 EMAs that you can customize the source and length. The averages and shadowing change color based on if they are either rising or falling.
default values are 5, 9, and 21 EMA on open as source.
Bar color is dictated by the bar close over or under the 5 and 9 EMA.
This is suitable for use on HA candle.
Barcolor Five Over Five 2021-1-12This setting is pretty simple and straightforward. It is meant to color the price bars based on whether the trend is up, down, or sideways. This setting can be used in any market and becomes devastating when used on multiple time frames.
Bjorgum Triple EMA Strat-This script uses a triple EMA strategy to establish trend direction and reversal points
-Inputs are smoothed with Heiken Ashi values to reduce whipsaws, while providing timely execution
-Buy and sell indications are dictated by bar color
-Bar color is dictated by the candle close value in relation to the EMAs, specifically the faster of the 3
(If candle closes above or below the fast and intermediate averages, a buy or sell signal is indicated by bar color change)
-If the close falls between the two a cautionary signal is given. The viewer can hold, or take profit, or evaluate other indicators for clues
-Best results are obtained when coupled with Bjorgum TSI and Bjorgum RSI for confirmation of signals (see TradingView profile)

TKP RSI BAR COLORThis script was influenced by Scilentor's- "RSI Bar Colors / Scilentor". I improved upon the Idea by adding the ability to change the full range of RSI (Between 0 through 100) to any color you want within 5 point increments.
Traditional use of RSI is to use it as an "Overbought" and "Oversold" indicator. A more uncommon/unknown use, especially among new traders, is to use is as a "Momentum" indicator. I personally like to look for stocks where RSI>50
Default settings are set to color all bars red when below 50, and white when above 50, but try for your self setting different colors above 70, and below 30 to better see overbought and oversold conditions. I got a lot of requests for this script and I hope it helps you in your trading journey :-)
[LunaOwl] Rainbow Color Gradient作品: 色彩漸變-彩虹帶
This script is about rainbow color gradient, there are 35 colors from red to purple. The color changes with the time series, from light to dark, and then to light, repeat. Maybe it's visually beautiful. Compared to practicality, I prefer to use it as a color gradient reference. for the later works.
色彩漸變彩虹帶,從紅到紫有35種色調,隨著時間序列進行而變化,由淺到深再到淺,或許視覺上很美。
相比於實用性,我覺得應該當成色彩漸層的參考,對於以後作品可以使用上。

B3 Clear Method Streak CountAbout Clear Method -- to repeat my prior post on the bar painter script:
This indicator is translated out of Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities , September 2010, (I take zero design credit). The script simply looks for the price action to break or "clear" the most recent action, and only changes the paintbar color if the action indeed clears the previous candles. Simple to use, just add to your chart from your favorites and change the colors in the UI. It does the rest.
This version can replace my previous Clear Method Bar Painter as it also paints the bars.
What is different is this share is a lower study that counts the streak of the bars shown via histogram.
The way to use the streak is to notice the previous streaks and get a sense of how long the current trend is lasting versus prior trends of the same direction.
@Tradestation recently posted their "price streak" study, and this one is quite similar in nature.
Enjoy, the code open to view,

[PX] RSI BarcolorThis script simply colors the candles based on the defined "overbought" and "oversold" RSI-levels set in the input section of the indicator.
If the price is below the oversold level, the candle is colored in yellow.
If the price is above the overbought level, the candle is colored in aqua.
If the price moves back between both levels, no color will be applied.

TSI Shadow (with custom candle coloring)Hello traders
This indicator is based on my TSI shadow previously published
This custom version will also color the candles based on the TSI shadow trend
Bullish condition = TSI > MA2 and MA1> MA2
Bearish condition = TSI < MA1 and MA1 < MA2
I made alerts available for this indicator so you can set them on your account
Enjoy
