London Pre-Session Sweep – XAUUSD

5m strategy for XAUUSD. Builds the Pre-London box (08:00–09:00 Berlin), waits for a sweep of box high or low, then enters on an Attempted Candle (green for long, red for short). SL = high/low of that candle, TP = 4R. Mon/Wed/Thu only, max 3 trades/day, no new trades after first win. DST-safe, no repaint.

**London Pre-Session Sweep – XAUUSD**

5-minute strategy for XAUUSD based on the London pre-session range.

**Idea:** During the Pre-London window (08:00–09:00 Berlin) the strategy builds a box from the session high and low. In the trading windows (09:30–10:25 and 11:00–12:00 Berlin), it waits for price to sweep either the box high or the box low. The next candle must be an "Attempted Candle" – it has taken out liquidity but closes in the intended direction: green (close > open) for long, red (close < open) for short. Entry is at the close of that candle.

**Rules:** LONG = sweep of box low then green candle → long at close. SHORT = sweep of box high then red candle → short at close. Stop loss = high (short) or low (long) of the Attempted Candle. Take profit = fixed 4R. Trading days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. Max 3 trades per day; after the first winning trade, no further entries that day. No hedging; opposite direction only if the first trade of the day was a loss.

Logic is close-based only, no repaint or lookahead. Sessions use Europe/Berlin (DST-safe). Alerts output a single-line JSON with symbol, direction, entry, sl, tp, rr, session, and time.

If the Attempted Candle is the **10:25 candle**, entry is at the **open of the 11:00 candle** (first bar after the pause), not at 10:30. All other signals: entry at the open of the next bar. The Attempted Candle must sweep box/reference and close in direction: green for long, red for short. SL/TP from that candle.
