Bosnia's Elektroprivreda HZHB to borrow 5 mln euro from UniCredit Bank

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 5 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda HZHB [SAJ:JPEMR] said it will borrow an overdraft loan of 10 million marka ($5.4 million/5.1 million euro) from local UniCredit Bank d.d.

UniCredit Bank was the sole bidder in a tender for the one-year loan, the company said in a notice posted on Bosnia's e-Procurement portal on Friday.

The company did not attract any offers in a tender for another overdraft loan of 5 million marka, it said in a separate notice on Friday.

Elektroprivreda HZHB's shares last traded on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange on November 7, when they closed 9.68% lower at 28 marka.

Elektroprivreda HZHB, the smallest of the three Bosnian state-owned power utilities, is based in the country's Federation entity.

The largest power utility is Elektroprivreda BiH, also based in the Federation, which together with the Serb Republic entity forms Bosnia and Herzegovina. Elektroprivreda RS is the power utility of the Serb Republic.

UniCredit Bank d.d. is based in the Federation, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. Italy's UniCredit Group has another bank in Bosnia, UniCredit Bank Banja Luka, which is headquartered in the other entity - the Serb Republic.
