XAUUSD - sentiment no longer bullish

The London Session provided a very promising bullish setup that checks every trend-trader's boxes. With traders eagerly awaiting the New York session to drive in substantial bullish momentum and send the pair through the tops of their computer screens - their bullish expectations are slowly dying off since it is now half-way into the New York session and not only is there no sign of bullish pressure but also the market sentiment is starting to shift bearish on lower timeframes such as the 15m.

Now that the London - New York overlap is over, the most active period in a trading day - traders are closing their long positions at breakeven since there are no signs of further upside.
