GBPUSD - LONG or SHORT?

Currently, the GBPUSD is almost reaching the end of the ascending channel it's currently in, thus there are 2 nice options here for a scalp today for at least 30-40 pips profit.
No 1) If the price goes through the Green trendline, it's bound to go Bullish to the top of the channel or might possibly break through it.
No 2) If the price goes below the Red trendline below, it's bound to go Bearish to the bottom of the channel or might possibly break through it and go even further down.
I have set up alerts for both of the trendlines, so it's important to keep an eye on this one, it could go both ways.

No 2) If the price goes below the Red trendline below, it's bound to go Bearish to the bottom of the channel or might possibly break through it and go even further down.
