so when i entered earlier, there was huge divergence on 15m candles. meaning at the higher point there was big market buyer orders more then sellers but price still going down. meaning, the limit orders on sellers were stronger. so i entered on next candle. this area is a support. and 1hr candle is still clearly a up trend. i entered as i thought we are in a good zone, that sellers will have lost soem power. also we in liquidity zone of support right now. so im expecting alot of sellers market orders to get cancelled. it still shows it this way. but i got out early as it isn't my strat, and i was expecting a bigger bounce then that. i trade very tight sl, so i do this to get in early or get out early to balance out if i miss my shot. earlier lost abit more then 200, and i got out at plus 80 bucks. i don't consider it a loss, just testing oppotunities. abit like poker small and big blinds. you never know if you check raise, on the turn and every one folds.

so when strat works, based on order flow, it takes abit of time for it to happen. thats why better to go in with candle sticks when price closes. sometimes theres more sellers who are fomo following market, so it takes abit of time. but when i see my strat winning to starting to fail, usually best to get out. i say 80% of time will lose. best get out first.

i'll explain my trade, so maybe others can think the same way or get some idea whats going on when i traded and why i sold.
ok i shorted it just now as obvious news on USA gdp interest rate was good and with employment news was good, so definately people will want cash.
so overall news not so good for gold. big manupliation pump up. so ofcourse liqudity grab will come, plus bad news. i first shorted in, as it was about 50% of that top and bottom candle, i usually do that, small orders to quick scalp and sell at those types of prices. i knew the highs of the order blocks will be broken. and resistance of new limit orders to sell were there. made 800 there.

2nd trade, price wnet down to a strong support, which i would usually quick scalp long there too. price went up, to roughly fib zone about 62% from the low to the high, plus resistance from that order zone as can see on 15m and 1hr high. infact, 1hr high never closed higher then that before. once 15m closed, i shorted again, with a sl higher then the 15m candle wick with entry 1988.23. usually if fails to go high, will have big pump down, it hit previous support zone, but the candle was damn ass red. so i held to see next candle. i expected big pump down and fast, but i saw support at 1981.6 because that was the candle on 1hr time frame where this pump started. so i knew that likely will pump and retrace abit. so i got out as low as i could get. and i plan to reenter again to short later. so i got out.

over all nice wins, another profitable day, with more then 3R on 2x orders. so 6 R

i think news is already done. so go back to fundamentals. i likely won trade this already, maybe i'll look to short if some resistance on 1986, or stop market order 1979.77, short, tp 1977.08 sl 1981.61 for a 1.5RR order. lets see, if any weakness first. this 15m pretty damn bullish and price buyers willing to buy around here.

caught that short on GJ not from top, but pretty good, about 1.1k profit, loss on xau, i expected news to be good for usa, expected 0.2 ppi, ended up 0.
so buyers flocked to xau. loss 400 on xau, won on GJ. profit about 600 after fees. it also got me in on bad price. i sold as it was strong support. i don't think it will break so fast. maybe later. but took it at 1.1k. news trades within first hour best to just take profits first. i learnt lesson many times. today news trading day turned out pretty good. no possible to post my trade i will take on news trading. moves too fast.
