Watching "price action" is often times the easiest way to determine what will happen in the short term. Which 99.9% of traders are interested in. We want immediate results. Look for pin-bars & engulfing periods. Ask yourself is this going to be an up day or a down day? Is this going to be an up DAY or a down DAY. and then time your trades on smaller time frames. like the 1hr or 15 minute.
Do not be too stubborn to take a loss!
