10 Agu 2023I initially thought it was a short play, maybe this is because i am short biased. Bu as soon as the price action told me its not going my way and broke structure on the lower timeframes I got out and changed my position because the market told me where it was goin.

Black line on the chart - This is me looking left and seeing where there could be potential sell pressure. If, on the lower time frames the price reacts at this level i will get out as I will try and focus on what price tells me. I will be happy with what the market offered me to take

I heard or read once, the difference between a good trader and a great trader is to now when your wrong and having the ability to change your position without an emotional attachment to anything. Just try and work at following the price action.

As a side note, this trade I am in is a similar situation i had this week. Where I am in a trade because it fit certain criteria but knowing that It wont last all day because of price levels that need consideration like Support and resistance and mainly because of the Euro Session that starts at 3pm my time (Perth Australia) and this no doubt will push my position further along or change its direction so I would rather be out at this time and ready to follow the next move or cover my position subject to how the charts look.
