Keeping stop loss is very important in trading for both spot and leverage trading.
If you do not keep stop loss you not only lose capital but also time. Opportunity cost of better trades also go away.

1. Keep stop loss. Stop loss can be kept using ATR value (just below ATR value) or simply base don capital calculation, e.g. you don't want to risk more than 1% of your total capital
