BTC Update: A major correction ahead...

So the story is unfolding like this.... we have one of two situations, either the powers that be are putting forth a significant amount of effort to push the double spend storyline (actual evidence to the contrary) OR the bitcoin protocol is flawed, making it useless for all intents and purposes. The kicker is that only a small group of people understand it enough to actually know which is the real situation (the former would be my guess). Either case a classic technical setup for a crash is playing out.. I would venture that this is just the first drop in a series until we get down to some horrendous number (with 0 an actual possibility if double spend has occurred) but we'll have to see what it does once it hits the green support.
