On May 27th, the DeFi protocol Reflexer posted on social media that Paragidm’s previous investment in FTX had brought heavy damage to the encryption ecosystem, and reprimanded it for no longer focusing on Crypto and switching to the AI field. It hopes that Paradigm will destroy all FLX holdings ( Reflexer Governance Token), no longer want to work for Paradigm. As previously reported, crypto venture capital firm Paradigm has expanded its focus to areas including artificial intelligence. According to its official website, Paradigm will now refer to itself as a “research-driven technology investment firm” rather than one that invests exclusively in “disruptive crypto/Web3 companies and protocols.” But people familiar with the strategy say the company hasn't changed its mission, continuing to focus on encryption and Web3 with no real changes. Reflexer Labs previously announced the completion of a $1.68 million seed round in August 2020, led by Paradigm, with participation from Standard Crypto, Compound founder Robert Leshner, and a16z Fund founder Jesse Walden.
