This is a straightforward modification of LazyBear's CCI-coded OBV indicator with the following changes:
1) uses log-hl2 as source, which seems to be a more stable indicator of price change than close
2) adds optional price smoothing
There is a lot of indicators similar to this one, however i think this one don't share the same calculation method and this is why i share it. This indicator aim to forecast price direction using an exponential filter architecture using highest and lowest information for the estimation of a smoothing variable. This filter is similar to the average...
It is a normal Directional Movement Index, but instead of using lines for +DI and -DI it uses histogram and 4 colors. It also contains an horizontal line (default value @20) to indicate when a trend is confirmed or not.

Using conditions in filters is a way to make them adapt to those, i already used this methodology in one of my proposed indicators ARMA which gave a really promising adaptive filter, ARMA tried to have a flat response when dealing with ranging market while following the price when the market where trending or exhibiting volatile movements, the...
A simple script to add background colors to specific timeframes. Great for trading futures so you can separate sessions for easier viewing. Use for stocks to separate pre, open, and post market times.
There are three timeframes that can be set and all colors can be modified.
Based on the Auto-Line code, the Efficient Auto Line aim to provide a more controlled adaptivity of the indicator. The first indicator of this sort worked this way : when the absolute difference between the price and the indicator is higher than the previous indicator +/- A pips of amplitude, the indicator will display the closing price, else...
Provides a suite of functions to:
— Allow the selection of one of 3 color schemes, each containing a pair of bull/bear colors.
— Generate 10-level gradients for each color.
— Use two types of gradient calculations: one for unbounded and one for bounded signals. We call the 2 modes: Advance/Decline and Relative .
These gradients are designed to work...

Play with the settings, you can change the moving avarage type, its length, if you prefer having the default
bar colours in your chart, disable the colouring function in the script.
Good luck crypto traders!

- If today’s closing price is greater than (n) bars ago but volume is not, color today’s volume bar lime.
- Similarly, if today’s closing price and volume is less than (n) bars ago, color today’s volume...
Blau's Ergodic Candlestick Oscillator = a decent trend finder, however slightly lagged. It can help you to see a reversal entry if you are looking for one. I find the one line ECO hard to use, so I have created this histogram version with a signal line. The colors help to show you whats going on with the ECO and its bias. This indicator shows up in a couple...
