This is an experimental candlestick pattern that combines pinbars and engulfing patterns as my own implementation. These signals can be used as a possible reversal points based on timeframe used or set wick size. Of course these signals should never be used on their own but rather can be used as another confluence of possible entry signal.
Functional and Manual alerts provided with simple and clean code.
TLDR: Use as a possible reversal point for your entries in combination with your trend and volatility filters. Green means possible bullish move, Red means possible bearish move.

Added HTF functionality that draws the candle on lower timeframe if an EP pattern is found. Alerts also adapted according to it. Happy hunting.

hi, this is great. just wondering though what is classified as engulfing pin within the code as it has not picked up on this 15 min engulfing pin signal on EURJPY today in Asia! The following is a video that explains... would really appreciate feedback and assistance! Also, would be awesome if a multi time frame selection could be added to the code so that you could be on a 5 min or 1 min time frame and alerted to say a 15 min engulfing pin bar to give you the signal to scalp on the 1 or 5 min chart without having to toggle between time frames or have multiple time frames up on screens taking up valuable real estate on your monitors.
@Ross-J-Burland, Opposite side wick should be smaller in my implementation. I will relax it in next update.

@serkany88, I see! Ok. Maybe can be flexible. How about an MTF version as well so a 15 min engulfing pin candle can be signalled on a lower time frame chart, such as a 5 or 1 min chart for scalpers?
