Doms 0dte/hassan conversion v2

S&P 500 IndexTVC

Deskripsi

Hello Guys

This is a reupload!

The 0dte is for options trading and is used for the main 1 to 0 odte strategy!

It uses volume, sector and tik analysis in order to give an understanding of looking which way to play.

The next version will look at correlations between the es! Feel free to point out bugs and reach out as I want this to grow into something way stronger!

Thank you very much for this script. Is there any step by step guide, how to use it, please? I am doing 0 and 1 dte SPX. Regards

Thank you for posting the script, much appreciated.
This script is written to be used for trading 0DTE of the SPX.
Would it be possible to adapt the script to use for the Amsterdam Stock Exchange?

This version has a few problems. First the percent change compares the current bar to the prev bar when the tos version compares the bar to previous day's close. the PST and CST values is one pct from the current bar vs tos version is fixed at one pct from the day's open. Third, the stage is also wrong since when I tried to plot it, it remains at zero. The VOL is based on the NYSE and not the SPX advancing/declining volume.

Since mood and recommendation (Put/Call spread) is calculated based on pct chg and mkt stage along with the other variables, then it could be concluded that these are not reliable because some of the inputs are bad; garbage in, garbage out. The translation from TOS to tv just didn't work in the current tv version.

@jj.cnucks, Hi Do you know/have any links related to script for TOS version

Nice, thanks for putting it up in tradingview! I found Hassan's notes explaining some of the labels/data overall usage. Wondered about info changing a bit with time frame but sorting it out do not see lot of significance in it. Do not see it stated anywhere but looks to be useful on SPX in any timeframe less than one day. Have done a little intraday on SPX. Some of the other indexes have similar derivative data available as well. Thanks again and keep smiling! following.

@Tom1trader, Thanks for taking the time to message! Yea I realize I haven't made this super friendly to anyone that doesn't know Hassan so for the next version I will without a doubt look at making it easier for the wider community to adopt! Currently trying to find trading buddies who I can bounce ideas off!

Hi, I've taken your script and optimized it a bit. See pastebin.com/J429h8K3

@bmistiaen, Thank you sir! Unfortunately I am new to pine script and I wrote the code in a day learning as I went! Hopefully it isn't too bad haha!

Do you know of a way I could backtest for options strategies? That is my next big goal
bmistiaen
@DomenicoBezuidenhout, I don't know of a way to backtest options on TradingView. As far as I know, TV doesn't have data on option contracts.
Your best bet is to explain what you want on StackOverflow, in the PineScript tag: stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/pine-script
There's a lot of helpful people over there, that sometimes come up with real nice solutions.
