Overhang, high freight weigh on market

Nigerian grades were under pressure on Friday due to a considerable overhang of December loading cargoes though India took a few in its latest tender.

* Angola's state oil firm Sonangol has four spot cargoes available in January, but it has not yet published offer levels. The cargoes are Cabinda, Dalia, Girassol and Saxi.

* India's IOC awarded its latest tender for crude loading Jan. 10-20 to BP for a cargo Nigerian Qua Iboe and to Equinor for a cargo of Angolan Saturno.

* Other Asian buyers, CPC and PTT, took cheaper U.S. crude grades to avoid the Brent-related premium.

* Shell was said to have bought a cargo of Chadian Doba Blend from Glencore loading Dec. 10.
