QBTC went up 658% and BTC went up 800% during the same time. Short term QBTC did 210% vs BTC 270%.
It's more profitable to own BTC vs BTC funds.
But if you can put QBTC and BTCG into your 401k or RRSP & TFSA, you would not pay any taxes so maybe more interesting actually.
For a BTC ETF in Canada, go with BTCC and EBIT (cheaper cost). Those should follow the exact BTC prices fluctuations. And you can buy into your RRSP & TFSA. Best solution!
