Look at 08/09 what happened with banks, (citi, jpm, wells..), they have been bailed out (British Airways is part of IAG and UK won't let it sink) and as a result lost a lot of value and add on top that 2020 will be year without earnings for most airlines, do you want to go for long ? Go for it, but I will go elsewhere.

@hydrus2000, - AIrlines, along with everything else will be up and running quicker than you think. These companies are profitable. People will want/need to be somewhere else. Easyjet, BA, Ryanair will be back to 50% (price) of what they were before, fast.. So there is long term 2-3 years of safe profit in them. More money than leaving them it in the Bank that's for sure.
Easyjet before crash 1600p - New Low 412p - today 600p....I don't see any reason it cannot hit 900p in the next 2-3 years.

@xtrader16, airlines can't fly without passengers or with 10% seats, because when lockdowns is over, the thing line of progress made and the fear of 2nd wave will ensure that there wont be enough planes flying.
