European stock markets will open mixed on Friday, as investors are in search of direction after sharp sales during the previous session, which interrupted strong market growth last month.
At 02:05 Eastern time (06:05 GMT), the DAX futures contract in Germany was trading up 0.9%. French CAC 40 futures fell 0.2%, while futures on the FTSE 100 in the UK fell 0.6%.
