"hope" is not a word used when investing. hope implies emotion, and that is a dangerous place to be. What I believe we are seeing is a bear flag pattern here... consolidation before another move down. all the money the FED is printing, the weight of the debt,the even lower velocity of money, GDP not going to be good, huge unemployment... no one is asking, "how will the government pay its bills if it can't collect its revenue in taxes?" the is the question no one is asking in the MSM, which is going to weigh heavy on this us dollar.
