Dollar Index: . Measure the value of the dollar against a basket of six foreign currencies. . These are: the Euro, Swiss franc, Japanese yen, Canadian dollar, British pound, and Swedish krona. . With the increase of money supply over the decades, it causes currencies dilution. When currencies weaken, inflation follows.
