I'm a long term investor of AMD and the catalyst for the upside as always lies in the fundamentals.
On the AMD investor relations website they have announced numerous new products with Xilinx. Don't know much about this company but they are spending a lot on research and development with the next generation of graphics cards.
AMD also completed an acquisition with Pensando which is a cloud based company and have linked up with Qualcomm
I should also mention that Microsoft are adopting their newest server GPU and Google are increasing their adaption of AMDs Epyc processor.
So they are playing with the big boys now and they big boys really want to give them their money.

could be possible if feds don't do multiple 50 basis point hikes. they seem serious about stopping inflation. If stocks go up more inflation has arised
